Episode 8

Inspiration and motivation; these are two words that have a different
meaning for each and every one of us. What inspires and motivates you the most?

In this episode A Virtual Perception, I spoke with Natural Moms Talk Radio host and Marketing Coach, Carrie Lauth who shed some light on how to stay motivated when it comes to your marketing efforts. I also spoke with the webmaster of Serendipity Factory.com. A website devoted to inspiration and encouragement. Both interviews were truly enlightening.

The show also includes my top three inspirational web picks, my thoughts on the movie The Secret and two major announcements, which are: A Virtual Perception will be launching a Book Review Segment to air weekly starting October 20th and I will be launching an entirely new podcast in addition to A Virtual Perception.

Episode 2

A Balancing Act – Business and Family
In this episode I delve into the topic of balancing business and family. I explore the topic through interviews with Dawn Riley of A Virtual Assistant in Paradise, who spoke about why she became a Virtual Assistant and talked about one obstacle many business owners face when it comes to balancing business and family. Nate, a client of mine, spoke with me about why he decided to work with a Virtual Assistant and how one has changed his business, as well as, shuts off work to spend time with his family. Finally, I spoke with my mother about working with family. We spoke about how easy or hard it is to divide business time and family time when working in a home based family business. The Get Connected segment is back and I introduced a new segment called The Book Nook.

EPISODE 1

Show Topic: A Virtual Assistant Defined

In the very first podcast I take a few minutes to define just what a Virtual Assistant is, what a Virtual Assistant does, the benefits of working with a Virtual Assistant and I briefly talk about the steps a person should take if they are interested in becoming a Virtual Assistant. Knowledge is power, so I also provide some resources for aspiring Virtual Assistants and the general listening audience.

Two regular segments are introduced during the podcast. The first is Get Connected, a segment in which I provide an internet resource (usually chosen to follow along with the show’s topic).

The other segment introduced is: My Favorite Price: Free. I again provide a resource (internet or otherwise) to my listeners, the only difference is this time the resource is always free and is not always on topic.
